Today I would like to introduce you to the fabulous candy company called Hammond's Candies and they have been in business since 1920 making delicious candy confections for all of us...their fans! Hammond's Candies is based out of Denver, Colorado but lucky for us...we can all purchase their gourmet confections right online and have them shipped straight to our front doors or from several retail locations across the nation.
Hammond's Candies makes a variety of candies such as lollipops, dips & pretzels, a variety of chocolates, taffy, puff sticks, hard candies, nostalgic candies, all-natural candies, marshmallow & caramel candies, pillows & straws, ribbon candy, art candy and so much more! If you are a gourmet candy lover...you have got to check out the candy at Hammond's Candies!
My Review: The generous folks over at Hammond's Candies sent me two bags of pretzels along with two jars of dips to try out for all of you. I received the Chocolate Cherry Cordial Dip and the Peppermint Pattie Dip along with two bags of Chocolate Pretzels. The dips can be used overtop ice cream, overtop yogurts, on top of dessert pies or dunk your favorite cracker or pretzel in it for a delicious treat. Since I was hosting our weekly neighborhood crime watch meeting at my home last week I decided to serve both of the dips and pretzels to the members of my group. I decided to serve the dips at room temperature but you can serve them chilled. The chocolate pretzels they sent to me are all-natural and when you think of chocolate pretzels, these are not coated in chocolate but are actually baked chocolate flavored pretzels so there is no gooey chocolate coating on them.
My guests had fun trying out these dips with the chocolate pretzels and for an entire hour they raved and raved and raved about them! I told them all that this snacking experience was brought to them by the great folks at Hammond's Candies and told them all where to go to purchase them. I polled the group of 7 and asked them which flavor of dip was their favorite. Well, 4 of them loved the Chocolate Cherry Cordial Dip and 3 of them loved the Peppermint Pattie Dip. So, I had to cast my vote and I went for the Chocolate Cherry Cordial Dip!
Overall Impression: We loved the Hammond's Candies dip and pretzels and they were a huge hit at the meeting! They have a wonderful sweet taste that tasted freshly made and I love that it comes in this nice sized jar which is perfect for parties or family snacking. We give these products a huge 2 thumbs up!
