Today I am sharing with all of you another great recipe I found from my great aunt's stash of vintage recipes. If you love Pork & Beans I think you will love this twist on the American Classic Pork & Beans dish. It will make about 6 servings.
Hawaiian Style Pork & Beans Recipe
1/4 lb. ham (hock or left-over cooked ham), diced
1 lb. 5 oz. can Pork & Beans
1/2 teaspoon mustard
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 1/2 tbsp. onion, minced or finely chopped
1 cup canned Pineapple chunks
Grease a large 2 quart casserole baking dish with a little bit of butter. Place all of the ingredients together into the casserole dish and stir it up to combine the ingredients together. Place the casserole dish (covered) into a preheated 350 degree oven and bake for 40-50 minutes or until done.
