Michael Angelo’s ‘Taste Your Way to Italy’ Sweepstakes + Baked Ziti and Meatballs Review

My family are big fans of the Michael Angelo's frozen lasagna products. Last year I had the pleasure of reviewing the products and since that time...we have been purchasing their frozen lasagna dinners frequently. We love how they taste fresh like homemade and the seasonings & spices are just right. We love having them as a family meal and from time to time we invite guests over to our home for dinner and they enjoy it too.

This time around I decided to review a Michael Angelo's product that we have never tried before. We picked up a complimentary box of their frozen Baked Ziti & Meatballs made with all-beef Italian-style meatballs, vine-ripened tomatoes and imported Romano cheese.

Michael Angelo's takes great pride in making all of their products from wholesome fresh ingredients and they are made in small batches to ensure quality. We picked up the 1.75 lbs. family dinner package and you keep them frozen until ready to use. Once ready...you can make them in the oven or pop them into the microwave oven to save time.There are absolutely NO preservatives in these products so you can feel good about preparing them & feeding them to your family.
Baked Ziti & Meatballs Fresh out of the Oven
We decided to pop ours into the oven and baked it for 35 minutes according to the package instructions. If you want to save time or prepare it on a busy weeknight...you can place it into the microwave oven for 9 to 12 minutes and let it stand for 5 minutes before serving. If you ask me...they are perfect for those busy weeknights when you don't have a lot of time to fuss over preparing dinner.

To go along with our Baked Ziti & Meatballs I baked some Texas Toast. When we eat Italian for dinner we like to have some type of tasty bread product to go along with it. In addition, I also whip up some quick side salads and we served those right along with it too.

The family sat down & at first they were a little disappointed that I didn't get our regular Michael Angelo's Lasagna that they absolutely love. I told them this time around we were going to try out something new. After a few bites they agreed...it was time for us to step out of the box & try something new. They all loved how "fresh" this baked ziti tasted! The pasta was perfect in it's texture and taste. Those Italian-Style meatballs definitely tasted like Italian meatballs and trust me...my husband would know since he is 100% Italian! Yup, they passed his taste test for sure!

From now on we will be purchasing both the Michael Angelo's Frozen Lasagna Dinners and the Michael Angelo's Baked Ziti & Meatballs. If you have never tried them...you are really missing out!
