2014 had been a great year for my husband and I. We both made a commitment to eat healthier, to get more exercise, hubby changed jobs and our daughter is getting married in early September. Life is definitely good for us right now!

While we made the change to live a healthier lifestyle, it hasn't been easy for us. One area that we still were lacking in was finding grab-n-go snacks and protein bars to take with us. Yes, we both lead very busy lives and at times we need grab-n-go items. We recently tried out some protein bars by Quest Nutrition and we are excited to tell you about them today.

The company sent us a box of their QuestBar Protein Bar in a yummy Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Flavor and a box of mixed flavor QuestBar's which include: Peanut Butter Supreme, Chocolate Brownie, Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, Double Chocolate Chunk, Banana Nut Muffin, Chocolate Peanut Butter, Cinnamon Roll and Coconut Cashew flavors.

Since the company sent so many different flavors for us to try out, I decided to share them with the family. So, for the review...myself, hubby, our adult daughter and my mother all got to sample them. What was really interesting to me is that all four of us had a different favorite flavor!

For me...I loved the Chocolate Brownie. Hubby was all over the Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough and the Coconut Cashew flavors. Jenelle enjoyed the Double Chocolate Chunk and my mother gobbled up the Banana Nut Muffin. Frankly, all of them were good!

Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough

As someone who has extensive jaw problems (TMJ and Trigeminal Neuralgia) I appreciated that they were moist and chewy. There was nothing crunchy, teeth-break hard in them. Next, they were true to flavor. If it was Banana Nut Muffin...it really did taste like a banana muffin! Each bar was very flavorful and very filling...you were not hungry an hour later and any cravings you had were totally satisfied with the protein bar.

I didn't have a chance to try them in any of their suggested recipes but I do live near a GNC store and will be purchasing more. Once I do, we will definitely try out a few of the recipes that they have featured over on their web site. Check them out while you are here!

Overall, we were very impressed with the QuestBar Protein Bar! We had tried various other brands in the past and thought they were bland. These however, are very flavorful and delicious! Pick some up today and give them a try!
