One of the easiest dips to make happens to be homemade spinach dip. It is also one of the most versatile and can be used with crackers, chips, veggie sticks, soft pretzels, hard pretzels, on a meat & cheese tray and even with certain fruits that you serve. We make a batch of the dip almost weekly and just rotate what we serve with it so that we don't get bored with it.
Easy To Make Homemade Spinach Dip
1 packet Hidden Valley Ranch Salad Dressing Mix
1 (8 ounce) container Sour Cream
1 small box frozen chopped spinach, thawed & drained
3 Tablespoons finely chopped onion
In a small mixing bowl combine together the packet of Hidden Valley Ranch Salad Dressing Mix with a full container of sour cream, chopped spinach and the finely chopped or minced onion until all ingredients are well combined together. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for 3-4 hours to allow all of the flavors to infuse together. Serve chilled with your favorite dippers and enjoy!

I love spinach dip and make it like this recipe and in different ways , by adding artichoke, avocado, or using a different dry dressing like onion mix. The 2 ingredients which never change are the low fat sour cram and the spinach.
